A freak incident happened Wednesday in downtown Sofia, right in front of the main entrance of the Presidential building.

The information was reported by the National Security Services.

Around 9:50 am a dark blue BMW drove with a high speed towards the entrance, hit the curb, and came to a halt.

The driver has been arrested and is under investigation.

Police say the 27-year-old I.G. has a long rap sheet including the premeditated murder of his father and disorderly conduct.
