The wedding ceremonies in the Bulgarian capital Sofia are to be shown online with live video streaming by the end of the year.

The fee to be charged for the new service by the Sofia Municipality will be BGN 25, announced municipal official Sasha Gabrovska, as cited by BTA.

The couples who wish to use the live web streaming service will be provided with a password that they can then share with anybody around the world that they want to make part of their special day.

The fees that the Sofia Municipality currently charges for a wedding ceremony depend on the kind of music ordered by the couples. A ceremony with a live performance by a choir costs BGN 193; by a duo – BGN 109. If music records are played, the fee is BGN 61.

The upcoming October 10 (10.10.2010) will be the busiest date for the municipality in terms of weddings this year.
