An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale was registered about 130 km southwest from Sofia.
According to data from the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the quake hit at 3:43 am local time. Its epicenter was not felt on Bulgarian territory. There is no information for victims and damages.
On Thursday, an earthquake of a magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter scale was felt around Sofia.
Two weeks ago, a slightly stronger quake, 2.8 on the Richter scale, rattled the homes of the citizens of Sofia. It was felt as a stronger quake because its epicenter was shallow and close to the capital.
