Former Prime Minister Kostov welcomed the new government leader Simeon Saxe-Coburg and his ministers at a handover procedure and wished them good luck in exercising their heavy responsibility. Kostov gave the new Prime Minister a pen as a gift, wishing him to sign with it the treaties of Bulgaria`s accession to NATO and the European Union. A few minutes before the opening of the handover ceremony, Kostov came out of the building of the Council of Ministers to welcome Simeon Saxe-Coburg. The former Prime Minister and the new one had a tete-a-tete, which, according to Albena Ivailova, hitherto press attache of the government, lasted 15 minutes. The handover continued by ministries with business talks between the outgoing and the new ministers.
