Bulgarian Invest commercial bank is to take up the servicing of Diners Club`s clients. A credit card contract has been already signed with the international organisation for card payments. The club`s clients will have accounts with the bank and when they make payments the bank will debit their accounts in favour of the creditor. The post-tax profit of the private financial institution for the first half of this year amounts to BGN 727,000, which marks a 16.88% growth, compared to the year-ago period. Loans extended to state-owned companies amount to BGN 1.217 M, to private companies-BGN 43.808 M, to citizens and households-BGN 2.354 M. In early April the bank was moved from Group 4 to Group 3 in the national bank`s ranking according to total assets.
