The Bulgarian Prodan Hristov, who has discovered a medicine against cancer, has announced that despite Macedonia’s wish to register the medicine there, he wanted to do it in Bulgaria.
“I have submitted documents and requests for registration of the medicine in Bulgaria. Now the Macedonians are after me because they want to register it in their country. But I tell them I am not interested. Macedonia is a spit. They are not a nation,” Hristov said Friday in an interview for the Bulgarian National Television and Darik Radio.
Hristov submitted a registration request for his anti-cancer medicine “Antimalignacyt” about 20 years ago. He was planning to start a production and open hospitals in Bulgaria.
“However, time passes by. At my age, the only option for production of the medicine would be if a company shows an interest in it. But they have to buy it, I do not make presents,” the scientist said.
Last year, Hristov, who is currently living in Vienna, stopped the production of the medicine because he was waiting for its registration.
However, he has stated that if the medicine is registered in Bulgaria, he would be ready to start the production again.
In the interview for Darik Radio, Albena Belovarska, who insists her father was cured from bladder cancer by Hristov’s medicine, expressed her belief of a world conspiracy against the registration of the “Antimalignacyt”.
“If the medicine gets registered, it will impede the industry with chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I firmly state this because I do not see any other reason why such a discovery would not be further tested,” Belovarska said.
