The Inspectorate at the Sofia City Hall has issued over 100 fines and nearly 300 citations to drivers who park their cars in the capital’s green zones and parks.

The information was reported Thursday by the City Hall’s press center, saying they are carrying out a two-day campaign to clean parks and green areas between apartment buildings from parked cars.

The fines amount to BGN 18 390 while 20 cars have been towed, mainly from the green zones of the city’s Central Park known as Borisova Gradina and in Studentski Grad (College Town where most college dormitories are located).
