Bulgaria's State Lottery “Toto 2” (BST) informs Monday about increased bids from foreign citizens from neighboring Romania, Macedonia and Greece.
The players in border areas are attracted by the opportunity of earning easy money as the jackpot is now over BGN 3 M.
The Greek are the most active, which experts explain with the unstable economic situation in their country.
The jackpot in the 6 out of 49 game keeps growing for the fifth week in a row since in the last drawing there were no winners. The most bids were submitted in the capital Sofia, including one for the record amount of BGN 1 716.
