The Bulgarian Socialists Party` MPs will cast an `abstention` vote on Tuesday, when the new cabinet is to be approved by the National Assembly, party leader Georgi Parvanov announced. The Supreme Council of the Socialists party declared its decision not to support the government after 63 of its members voted `for`, two voted `against`, and two- `abstention` during the plenary session, which ended on Sunday. Parvanov admitted that Kostadin Paskalev and Dimitar Kalchev have honestly been informing the executive board of the party on the talks that had been led and he wished them good luck in their future career. He stated that the participation of Paskalev and Kalchev in the cabinet does not mean that a political engagement has been undertaken by the Bulgarian Socialists party.
