Bulgarians are the most demanding clients compared to the people of several other Balkan countries, according to a survey carried out by the Greek company EKO.

This was revealed by Yoannis Polykandriotis, CEO of EKO Bulgaria EAD, in his interview for the Greek Survey (International Survey: Bulgaria-Greece) of Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency).

The large-scale survey in question researched EKO’s customers in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, and Cyprus.

"The challenges we face here are similar to those faced by every company in every country – big competition on the one hand and the extremely demanding Bulgarian client on the other,” Polykandriotis told Novinite.com in his interview.

In his interview for the Greek Survey, the EKO Bulgaria CEO refuted the reports in the Bulgarian media that Greece was planning to build an oil refinery in its Aegean port Alexandroupolis after the completion of the Burgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline, which is a joint project of Bulgaria, Greece, and Russia.

(Some of the vocal Bulgarian critics of the project have claimed that Greece was to benefit from it a lot more than Bulgaria as it was planning to refine oil at the end of the pipe.)
