The body of 33-year-old policeman from the Bulgaria’s northern city of Vratsa has been found late Thursday in the village of Ohrid, the Interior informs.

The policeman, identified as Tsanov, died from a shot in the head with his police issued handgun, found in the man’s right hand.

Around noon on Thursday, Tsanov called the 166 emergency hotline in the northern city of Montana and announced he was going to end his life. Tsanov’s wife is said to have found a suicide note as well.

The investigators say so far all evidence in Tsanov’s dead leads to suicide.
