A Bulgarian ship with a nineteen-member crew on board has been caught in a storm in the Ionian Sea and has been stranded on the beach of the Taranto Gulf, the national radio reported.
Prior to the incident, the ship, which was carrying metals, has been anchored and unloaded. No casualties have been reported.
The ship is waiting for the Italian naval forces to arrive and pull it out.
