BECHTEL TO ENACT UPPER ARDA PROJECT

US construction company Bechtel is ready to start working on the construction site in Upper Arda right away in the case that the Oxford Consortium signs a contract with the National Electricity Company. The consortium has received confirmation from ABSA Bank that it is ready to grant a credit of $30 M for the reconstruction of the existing hydro power plants in Upper Arda right after the conclusion of the contract and another $200 M for the development of three new hydro schemes in Madan, Ardino, and Saritsa.
