The information was reported by the Bulgarian Defense Ministry's press center.

The three servicemen have been transported by a special medical aircraft from the US field hospital in Bagram, Afghanistan.

4 Bulgarian rangers were injured, 3 of them seriously, during a Taliban rocket attack on the Kandahar airport in Afghanistan Sunday night.

Their health condition remains the same.

Sergeant Alexander Alexandrov, who sustained the most serious injuries, remains in critical condition and his life is still in danger. The other two - Corporal Yordan Petkov, who has stomach wounds, and Private, Yavor Ivanov, with leg and ankle injuries are in stable condition.

Alexandrov and Petkov are listed at the anesthesiology, emergency care and intense treatment clinic while Ivanov is at the trauma unit.

The injured are undergoing medical tests and evaluations to determine their future treatments. Doctors from Sofia's Military Medical Academy are on stand by to travel to Landschtul if needed.

The attack happened during the 5-day visit to Afghanistan of now former Defense Minister, Nikolay Mladenov and the rocket landed 200 meters from his location. The Taliban, reportedly, have said the NATO Minister was the target of the attack, which Mladenov firmly denies.
