Bulgaria's President, Georgi Parvanov, launched Monday the exhibit titled “On the Path of History”.

The exhibit dedicated to the ancient Bulgarian capitals will be in display at the Presidential building in downtown Sofia from January 25 to February 10.

Parvanov reiterated the idea of initiating an Ancient Bulgarian Capitals Act, saying that in addition to financing, the historical sites also need legislation.

Vice President, Angel Marin, First Lady, Zorka Parvanova, and Culture Minister, Vezhdi Rashidov, also attended the ceremony.

The President underlined, during his official address, the importance of the exhibit, especially for Bulgaria's youth and promised to hold more such “open door” events at his institution.

Parvanov stressed on his good relations with the former Culture Minister, Stefan Danailov, and with the current one  - Vezhdi Rashidov.
