He has worked for over 30 years at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as attaché, Third, Second and First Secretary and adviser to the Ambassador at the Bulgarian embassies of Mali, Mozambique and Brazil.
He has also been the department head at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for bilateral relations with African, Latin American and European countries; and Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria in Rome, Italy.
