Bulgarian football legend Hristo Stoichkov is celebrating his 50th anniversary on Monday.
Bulgarian international Valeri Bojinov sent his Italian club Parma up to fourth in Serie A after coming off the bench to score against Bari.
On-loan Manchester City striker Bojinov struck the first Parma goal four minutes after coming off the substitutes' bench and Alberto Paloschi added a second after 66 minutes for the hosts at the Ennio Tardini stadium.
The Bulgaria international, who had been expected to start with Nicola Amoruso rested, drilled a shot from the edge of the penalty box into the top-right corner.
Parma will now have extra confidence ahead of Saturday's game at the San Siro against AC Milan.
