First Investment Bank Wins Bulgaria's 2011 'Bank of the Year' Award
First Investment Bank has been declared Bulgaria's "Bank of the Year" for 2011 in the 20th edition of the annual "Bank of the Year" Awards, the organizers announced Wednesday.

Sweden's Bonnier Business Press, which is the majority share holder in Bulgarian Pari daily, said it has wrapped up the acquisition deal with an overhaul of the board of directors.
Lilia Apostolova will be appointed as the new CEO of the business daily Pari, to replace Valentin Panayotov, one of the founders of the newspaper.
Lilia Apostolova has media background as reporter, business editor and managing editor at Capital Weekly, a business paper. She was executive director of Naturella Group AD, a brokerage company in Sofia. Co-owner of Magazine One, a life-style magazine that organizes cultural events.
The Swedish company said it is in the process of acquiring the remaining shares owned by Valentin Panayotov.
Bonnier Business Press publishes newspapers, magazines and books in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Slovenia, Russia, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
