The annual meeting of the Ministers of Defense of South-Eastern Europe will take place in Sofia, starting on Wednesday. The event will also be attended by the defense ministers of the countries, which have the status of observers – Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia.
Bulgaria took over the rotating Chairmanship of the South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) process on July 15, 2009.
At the forum, the ministers will sign an Agreement on the Coordination Committee in the Framework of the SEDM and a Fifth Additional Protocol to the Agreement establishing the Multilateral Peace Force Southeastern Europe.
