Bulgaria President Begins Official Visit to Malta

The two-day official visit of Bulgaria's President, Georgi Parvanov, to Malta began Tuesday.
This is the first visit of a Bulgarian Head of State since 1990,
Parvanov, accompanied by Bulgaria's First Lady, Zorka Parvanova, was met at Gudja airport by the President of Malta, George Abela and his wife Margaret.
During his trip Parvanov will hold talks with Abela, the Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi, and Labor Party Chair, Joseph Muscat.
