The ex-husband of Spaska Mitrova, the Macedonian girl with Bulgarian passport who spend two months in jail, said his former wife had lied about everything.

Voislav Savic gave an interview for the Bulgarian bTV channel claiming that he had been threatened by relatives of Spaska Mitrova but continued to take care of their underage daughter.

“There are many lies – that I am a drug addict, an alcoholic, and a criminal, or that she was sentenced only because she was Bulgarian,” said Savic who is a construction worker.

“She is as Bulgarian as I am African. She did not become Bulgarian until she was jailed,” the man has declared.

He refuted Mitrova’s claims that she did not know where her daughter was, and that he had been hiding the kid from her. He also stated that Mitrova had not treated their daughter with sufficient care, and that she did not try to contact him when he got out of jail.

“We were married for 6-7 hours, i.e. during the time of wedding ceremony and reception. I never understood why Spaska Mitrova broke up with me. I still have no answer. She left my house the day of the wedding,” Savic said explaining they married after dating for seven years.

The man is positive that not Spaska Mitrova but he is the actual victim in their marriage. He is determined to win the case for the custody of their daughter.
