Fuels imported in Bulgaria for usage in the agriculture will be colored as an anti-contraband measure from January 1, 2010.
This is part of the numerous amendments in the tax and customs legislature Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, announced Wednesday after the regular session of the Council of Ministers.
“One part of the fuel contraband is done this way – the gasoline is imported as agriculture purpose one, but then it is offered as regular one at the gas stations”, Djankov explained.
The excise of the cigarettes will be increased from January 1, 2010, while the fuels and alcohol excise will remain unchanged, the Minister confirmed.
The National Revenue Agency will constantly control by special devices from distance the bigger markets and gas stations, amendments in the Value Added Tax Law foresee.
The price of the road vignettes will not be changed, Djankov said.
The real estate deals will not be taxed, only if the property has been owned by the one who sells it for at least 3 years, the changes further rule.
Regarding the Local Taxes Law, each municipality will be left to decide on the real estate taxes on its own. The upper limit increases from 2 to 2,5 promils.
In Djankov's words, in 2010 all ministries will have lower budgets, excluding the Sport Ministry, which will become clear next Wednesday.
