Varna County Court took Smith's confession into account, and imposed a lenient sentence for the combination of charges. He will serve out his sentence in Sofia Prison.
Smith was first arrested in November 2008. When again taken into custody late this summer, three children from a nearby Roma neighborhood were found to be “visiting” Smith's home.
The police also confiscated a video camera, camera, disks along with sex stimulants and accessories. The court sat behind closed doors, and the distressed children were not present.
