Nineteen national teams have qualified for sure for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010 after Saturday’s qualifiers.

Those include seven teams from Europe: Germany, Denmark, Serbia, current world champion Italy, England, Spain, and the Netherlands; Africa: South Africa, Ghana, Ivory Coast; South America: Brazil, Paraguay, Chile; Asia: Australia, Japan, South Korea, North Korea; North and Central America: USA, Mexico.

A total of 32 nations will be competing for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Bulgaria lost even theoretical chances to qualify after its unexpected crushing 4:1 loss from Cyprus Saturday night.
