A light earthquake has been registered late on Wednesday in the region near the town of Razlog, Southwestern Bulgaria.

The tremor had a magnitude of 2,7 on the Richter scale and was not felt by the citizens.

According to the State Directorate "Civil Defense", the epicenter of the earthquake was 100 kilometers south of the capital Sofia.
