China Hacked the British Ministry of Defense!
Reports have emerged of a significant cybersecurity breach within the British Ministry of Defense, casting a spotlight on the vulnerability of critical government systems
Bulgaria Minister of Defense, Nikolay Mladenov, has stated that his main priority is to change the Defense laws in the country, which are "open to corruption."
Mladenov stated Sunday that people who work in his Ministry "want to work in a relaxed way, with dignity and in a non-corrupt environment." He added that one of the first things his team will focus on is changing the Law on Defense so that corruption practices are cut out.
He concluded that the previous government had rushed through the Law on Defense in an undemocratic way, with very few MPs in the National Assembly for the vote at the end of their mandate.
On Friday Bulgaria PM Boyko Borisov confirmed that at least three deals made by the Ministry of Defense have been sent to be investigated by the Prosecutor's office.
Borisov was informed of the details of the cases by Mladenov, whose Ministry has completed a full investigation into deals made by the previous three-way coalition government.
According to Mladenov the country had lost over BGN 100 M from the deals and orders made by the previous Defense team led by Nikolay Tsonev.
