35% of Bulgarian teachers complain of a strong general stress, according to data from the teachers' syndicate under the Podkrepa Labor Code.
Judges in Bulgaria are put under huge stress, a research that is part of the Operative Program "Administrative Capacity" has showed.
Among the reasons for the stress are the big amount of cases they must deal with, the asymmetry of their distribution, and the lack of rhythm in the working schedule, the research results presented Thursday showed.
According to specialists, another reason is the pressure on taking important decisions in unfavorable psycho-social atmosphere and in isolation.
The experts' opinion is that these results must be immediately presented to the Judges Union in Bulgaria, and a working plan to be created.
The research also shows that the Bulgarian judges, as well as their EU and US colleagues, are put under increasing amounts of professional stress caused by the cases of crimes against personality, sexual crimes, crimes against children, and such committed in particularly violent way.
Bulgarian judges do not have systematically developed and maintained immunity and active protection system from programs for handling the consequences of chronic professional stress.
