An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale struck about 150 kilometers southwest of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, outside the territory of the country.

The tremor was registered at 6.47 am in the region of Valandovo, Macedonia, but was not felt in Bulgaria.

There were no immediate reports of casualties and damages.
