Some of the agents in the Bulgaria State Security Agency DANS are open to bribes, have worked against their country and for other agencies.
The Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Corruption, Yane Yanev, has met Tuesday with two ex-heads of directorates in DANS - Velin Hadzholov and Rashko Zaykov, and they provided this information.
Hadzholov and Zaykov approached the Committee about violations in the State Security Agency. In Yanev's words the information is about corruption practices and financial dependence from certain business circles.
"The information provided by Hadzholov and Zaykov will be sent to the Prosecutor's Office, and then to the Prime Minister", Yanev said.
The meeting's occasion was the information that appeared in the Bulgarian media about financial violations and corruption practices in DANS.
