The amount of the bad credits in Bulgaria has increased by 159% in July 2009 year-on-year in July 2009.

According to data presented by the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) the number bad credits has passed psychological barrier of 5%, reaching in July 5,1% of all the credits given.

This is a 8,5% increase Month on month, the BNB statistics further show.

The overall credit wallet of the banks has decreased by BGN 9,6 M to BGN 48,8 B.

The fastest increase rate is in the bad housing credits - 12,9% increase on month bases. The overdue user credits have gone up by 9,3%, while the corporative loans - by 7,3%, in July 2009 month-on-month.
