A British woman and child, and a Bulgarian woman have been killed in a car accident near Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Varna late Friday night.
The crash happened as a car with UK license plates did not stop at a stop sign, and was smashed by a crossing bus. The bus was empty, and its driver did not get hurt, according to the Varna police.
Initial reports claimed that both women who died in the crash were British because the bodies had been hard to identify. The Bulgarian woman has been identified as a native of a village near the northeast city of Dobrich.
The UK woman has not been identified yet. According to the police, she was the driver of the car who failed to stop at a "Stop" sign, thus causing the crash.
Two children aged about 9 and 13 that were also traveling in the car were severely injured, and were taken in a critical condition to the St. Anna Hospital in the city of Varna, with one of them dying after that.
