The Executive Director of the Bulgarian National Revenue Agency, Krasimir Stefanov, fired Friday the regional tax administration head in the Eastern city of Sliven, Petko Dyulgerov.

Dyulgerov and two of his subordinate tax inspectors are dismissed after an inspection proved that they allowed violation with Value-Added Tax, and failed to implement the taxing legislation in a number of cases.

Stefanov has vowed not to compromise with any violations in the tax administration. At the end of July, he fired the head of the NRA Regional Directorate in Plovdiv over alleged abuses.
