A 35-year-old driver killed 22 sheep in a road accident in Southern Bulgaria on Saturday.
The accident happened on the road between the city of Plovdiv and the town of Saedinenie as the driver of a Mercedes crashed into a herd of some 100 sheep coming back from pasture.
According to the local police, the animals started crossing the road unexpectedly, and the driver did not manage to react on time to prevent the road carnage.
