Experts and businessmen, not political figures, have reportedly been invited as deputy ministers in Bulgaria's new center-right government of GERB party, some of whom will be presented on Thursday.
In line with his vow to cut down the bloated administration, save on government expenses and cull ministries, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has limited the number of deputy ministers up to three, 24 Hours daily reported.
Following is a list of the proposed deputy ministers in the key departments in GERB minority government, whose names surfaced in the local media the last week:
Finance Ministry
Vladislav Goranov - member of GERB economic team and former head of a unit at the finance ministry
Kalin Hristov - councilor of the Central Bnak governor
Georgi Angelov - Senior Economist at the Open Society Institute Sofia
Ani Mihaylova - member of the leadership of the International Monetary Fund for Bulgaria
Transport Ministry
Ekaterina Yordanova - former air hostess at Balkan airline and its successor Bulgaria Air, head of the transport trade union, municipal councillor on the ticket of GERB party
Kristian Krastev - executive director of the Bulgarian subsidiary of low-cost airline Wizz Air
Anguel Popov - Confederation of the Association in Car Transport
Nedelcho Nedelchev - deputy tranposrt minister in the centrist government of former king Simeon Saxe-Coburg
Boyko Dimitrachkov - former executive director of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company, member of the board of directors of E.ON energy utility
Economy, Energy and Tourism Ministry
Boyko Dimitrachkov - former executive director of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company, member of the board of directors of E.ON energy utility
Biser Boev - former chief executive of Economedia, Bulgaria's leading business media
Ivo Marinov - former head of National Tourism Policy directorate in the centrist governmetn of former king Simeon Saxe-Coburg

Svetlana Lomeva - executive director of the Bulgarian school for politics
Mila Kodzhabashieva - former head of the directorate "Coordination and control in the secondary school" with the Education Ministry
Rumen Pranchov - deputy rector of the Technical University
Environment Ministry
Evdokia Maneva - member of Parliament on the ticket of the dioe-hard right-wing Democrats for Strong Bulgaria
Ivelina Vassileva - Burgas deputy mayor
Foreign Ministry
Marin Raykov - deputy foreign minister in the right-wing cabinet of Ivan Kostov
