New Bulgaria PM Boyko Borisov has stated that Sofia is one of his government's priorities after standing down as Sofia Mayor on Wednesday.
Borisov stated that the new cabinet will concentrate on the problems in Sofia as soon as possible. He stated that the co-financing of a rubbish plant to deal with the capital's waste and the construction of the northern part of the Sofia ring-road. EUR 50 M from the national budget is needed for the waste plant.
Borisov thanked the Sofia municipality for their good work in adverse conditions, while officially standing down as Sofia Mayor.
He concluded that the first meeting of the Cabinet would be delayed until 11.30, to take into account the "more important" Sofia municipality formalities.
