The leader of the parliamentary group of ethnic Turkish DPS party, Lyutvi Mestan, has stated that his party will not remain isolated for long.
Mestan, from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms party (DPS), said that his party would not vote in support of the new GERB government later on Monday. His reasons for this included the links of far-right wing Ataka party to GERB. He called Ataka, "anti-constitutional an undemocratic".
Mestan added that GERB had only been able to form a minority government because their right-wing memorandum partners had been "forced to do so as it was their only way ahead."
He criticized Boyko Borisov and GERB for not keeping strong guidelines as to who is in coalition with the government and who is leading the country.
