The nominee to become Bulgaria's Regional Minister, Rosen Plevneliev, declared he was living private business with the deep conviction he would be able to help improve the State.
"I am taking a ministry that has not been known as a symbol of transparency, but this is precisely why I accepted the nomination," Plevneliev said in a special interview for Darik radio Thursday, after the leader of the elections' winner, Citizen for European Development of Bulgaria, (GERB) party and future PM, Boyko Borisov handed back the mandate to President Parvanov.
Plevneliev defined projects of national significance as the priorities of the Regional Ministry, naming the Struma, Trakya and Maritsa highways.
The incoming Regional Minister explained that the decision about returning the National "Road Infrastructure" Agency to his ministry or keeping it with the Ministries Council as it is now, was pending, and would be aligned with the opinion of the European Commission.
Plevneliev said he firmly believes the new cabinet is inheriting a country in shambles, including the Ministry he was going to head.
