The Consular Directorate of the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry recommended that Bulgarian citizens avoid traveling to or via Indonesia.

The recommendation is based on the complex situation in the Far East country after the suicide bomb attacks in two luxury hotels in the Indonesian capital Jakarta that took place Friday.

The Ministry also recommends that Bulgarian citizens already in Indonesia should try to leave the country; if they are unable to do that, they should contact the Bulgarian Embassy in Jakarta in order to leave their contact information.
