Pop singer, Vasil Naydenov, is the latest celebrity to receive a star in Bulgaria's own Hall of Fame.
The ceremony took place Wednesday in front of the cinema multiplex "Arena" in Sofia's Mladost district.
The singer arrived in a black limousine and walked on the red carpet to reach his star.
Naydenov thanked all people, who over the years helped him and inspired him to create great songs.
"In the last 5 years I see a very young generation of kids between 15 and 18 going to piano bars and they all know the texts of my songs, sometimes better than I remember them. This is a huge reward. It shows everything I have done makes sense. It replaces walking on red carpets, all nominations, I did receive and those I didn't. The competion is not that important. It is important to make it for 20-30 years. There is nothing better," Naydenov told reporters.
He is the sixth Bulgarian musician to receive a Hall of Fame star, after Valya Balkanska, Ivo Papazov, Ibryama, Lili Ivanova, Vasko Vasilev and Teodosii Spasov.
