An explosion of ammunition storage in southeast Turkey near the border with Iran and Iraq has killed four soldiers.
This was announced Tuesday morning by officials cited by local media and CNN Turk.
The reports said the blast occurred in Hakkari province near the border with Iraq and Iran.
No further details were immediately available.
Numerous Turkish military camps and bases have been deployed in the region, due to the tension and continuous conflict with the separatist Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
