A Bulgarian bus of the "Union Ivkoni" carrier caught fire in Italy late Thursday.

The entire back of the bus has been fully engulfed in flames but there are no reported injuries or casualties.

The firefighters and Italian police arrived immediately and prevented the eventual explosion of the bus, the Bulgarian information agency BGNES reports.

The passengers, who are already back in Sofia, are angry, saying the bus company failed to provide enough assistance and left them standing in the cold. The group, which included children and elderly people, is threatening to sue for compensations.

All passengers have been brought back to the Central Bus Station in Sofia and received hotel accommodations.
