Interpol Launches International Search for Missing Two-Year-Old Girl from Serbia
Interpol has initiated a global search for Danka Ilić, a two-year-old girl reported missing from Serbia, according to Radio Free Europe's Serbian edition
Former Kosovo Prime Minister, Akim Ceku, who was arrested by Bulgaria's authorities, has been officially invited to Sofia.
The news was reported by Darik radio Wednesday, citing their own sources.
Ceku has been invited to Bulgaria by Solomon Passy, Member of the Parliament from the ruling National Movement for Stability and Posperity of former Tsar and PM, Simeon Saxe-Coburg.
Passy is also a former Foreign Minister of Bulgaria and considered the key political figure in Bulgaria's NATO accession. He was recently nominated by his party and the Cabinet for the post of NATO Secretary General but was not selected by the Alliance.
Passy, reportedly, told Darik that Ceku had visited Bulgaria several times over the idea of Kosovo joining NATO.
The former Kosovo PM was detained while trying to cross the Bulgarian border from Serbia.
Ceku is sought by Interpol for evading his 20-year jail sentence. The sentence was imposed by a Serbian Court over charges of genocide.
He was reported to Interpol by Serbian authorities on May 6.
