Petlyovden Celebrations: Rooster Sacrifice and Health Rituals in Bulgaria

Los Angeles-based artist Sigal Bussel will open her solo exhibition "Conversation with Humanity" at the National Gallery for Foreign Art in Sofia, Bulgaria on June 24, the American Embassy announced.
The exhibition will run through July 17.
The National Gallery of Foreign Art is one of Bulgaria's most distinguished museums, displaying the works of masters including Picasso, Miro and Chagall.
Bussel's work has been exhibited throughout the world including China, Israel, Mexico and the United States, and she has many pieces in private collections in all those countries as well as England and Switzerland.
Her artwork is innovative, using nontraditional backgrounds, and her passion is addictive. Bussel holds a Master's degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
