A bus with Bulgarian registration veered off its path, resulting in 11 injuries, two of which are reported to be severe
Two persons have lost their lives during a severe accident on the Sofia beltway late Sunday night.
During one of the illegal motorbike races which are often organized on the Sofia beltway, a motorcyclist hit a pedestrian while racing at a very high speed.
Both persons died immediately and their corpses are severely mutilated, Darik Radio reported citing police sources. The accident took place close to a gas station in the Boyana Quarter around 11 pm on Sunday.
According to witnesses, several hundred people had gathered to watch the illegal motor race on the Sofia beltway. The motorcyclist who died in the accident is reported to have been a frequent participant at the illegal races.
