Twelve Bulgarian students from the National Music Academy were awarded scholarships in an art competition on Thursday.

The competition was held for the fifth time by "Gallery of the Bulgarian Talents" fund, jointly established by the wine cellar Todoroff, mobile operator GloBul and PR leader M3 Communications Group Inc.

The scholarships, amounting to BGN 12 000, are meant to help talented young artists.

Students from the National Arts Academy and the National Music Academy compete each year for the scholarships and are assessed by their professional successes.

The three companies, which founded the fund, say the initiative is part of their long-term and consistent efforts to protect and develop Bulgaria's culture.
