Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute has reported that inflation for 2024 stands at 2.2%, a slight increase from the previous year
The total average income per person in a household for the month of March 2009 is BGN 287, over 9% up compared to March 2008.
The data was released Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (NSI).
The majority of the above income comes from salaries and retirement pensions.
In March 2009 self-employment income decreases slightly - by 1,3%.
The total average expense per person in a household for the month of March 2009 is BGN 254, up by nearly 5% compared to March 2009.
The majority of the expense is formed by food and housing expenses, including energy and water bills - over 50% of all expenses.
