1600 KG. OF NARCOTICS BURNT IN FURNACES

1600 kg. of narcotics were burnt on Tuesday in the Kremicovtzi furnaces. The National Service for fighting organized crime secured the operation of destroying 1176 kg. of heroine, about 12 kg. of marihuana, and 426 kg. of hashish. The drugs burnt away are part of the seized total amount narcotics seized since the beginning of the year on which sentences have been passed. Bulgaria keeps a list of 19 cases of exposed smuggling of heroin from 11 countries of the so-called `Balkan` track.
