Bulgarian natural gas distribution company, Overgas, will lower its prices by 30% from July 2009.

End consumers will pay by BGN 196 per 1 000 cubic meters less, the company announced Tuesday.

The new price is formed according to the State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (DKEVR) to decrease natural gas prices by 30% in the second half of 2009.

After the changes, Bulgarian households will pay BGN 0,081 per kilowatt-hour (kwh) energy. For example, electrical energy costs BGN 0,153 per kwh, and oil produced energy - BGN 0,183 per kwh.

Industrial and administrative sector customers will also pay less. Transition from oil to natural gas energy will save them up to BGN 0,107 per kwh.
