The Bulgarian stock market indices rebounded at the start of trading on Thursday in line with a rise on Europe's leading stock markets.

SOFIX, the main index on the Bulgarian stock exchange, jumped by 10% up to 397.02 points in the morning, BG-40 rose by 4.05% to 103.65 points, BGTR30 went up by 5.06% and stood at 275.66 points and BGREIT edged up by 1.15% to 39.44 points.

European shares rose in early trade on Tuesday with financials the biggest gainers on hopes that the results of U.S. government stress tests on banks would reveal only modest shortfalls for the sector.

London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares gaining 0.28 percent to 4,408.75 points after Barclays bank posted positive results.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.37 percent to 4,898.54 points and the Paris CAC 40 jumped 1.11 percent to 3,320.06 points as the European Central Bank was expected to cut eurozone interest rates to a record low 1.0 percent Thursday.
