Christians and Muslims gathered early on Saturday to attend the opening of the Western transport junction of Kazanluk. Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg and his wife, on a visit to the town, officially opened the new transport junction. The new facility makes shorter with some six kilometres the distance between Sofia and Kazanluk. 1,300,000 BGN were invested by the municipality in the project. Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg, obviously excited, said that for him that day was not only day of the child but also day of the rose and day of the unity between Muslims and Christians. He also said that exactly seven years have passed since he first visited Kazanluk.
